Notice on Honorable Mention Materials, Achievement Ownership and Public Authorization

release date:Source: HCSA SecretariatColumn: Announcements and Notices

Applicable objects: Honorary nominees, nominated subjects and personnel responsible for materials

In order to ensure that honorary nominations can enter professional evaluation and follow-up inquiries, the association has unified requirements for nomination abstracts, representative achievements, role certification and public authorization. The recommendation relationship itself does not constitute the basis for evaluation. The materials should be able to explain the actual connection between the nominated subject and the results.

Individuals, teams, and institutions can use different proof structures. When it comes to co-creation, joint projects, performances, curation, research or publishing, the roles of each participant should be listed and avoid using the name of the main person in charge to overwrite other actual contributions.

1. Nomination materials

The first submission should be clear and verifiable and should at least contain:

  • Nomination awards, nominated subjects, professional directions and reasons for recommendation.
  • Represent the title of the achievement, time of creation, medium or type, and public access.
  • A summary of the nominee's actual role and contribution to the outcome.
  • Responsibility statement and necessary contact information of the material provider.

2. Rights and disclosure

Work images, videos, music, text and character information should indicate the source, attribution and license scope. Receiving a nomination does not constitute consent to the Association's long-term use of relevant materials in all channels.

The fields entered into the public announcement or grant record shall be confirmed by the association in accordance with the system and authorization. When there are ownership disputes, unclear roles, or materials that cannot be verified, the relevant matters will be suspended from subsequent procedures.
