Applicable objects: Professionals who have been included in the expert profile or received specific review tasks
In order to maintain the professional adaptability and independence of review tasks, the association continues to accept updates to experts’ public files and declares interests every time specific tasks are assigned. The professional background in the expert profile does not automatically constitute review authority for any matter.
File updates and task declarations are handled separately: the former maintains long-term professional information, public qualifications, and responsibilities, while the latter only confirms the scope of authorization, material access, and relationships that need to be avoided for a specific matter.
1. Update of expert files
Experts themselves can propose updates for changes that have occurred and can be verified, and the public fields are still limited to those required for professional identification and task adaptation.
- Main areas of expertise, practice areas, open qualifications and review types available.
- Current association role, appointment status, authorization period and disclosable professional experience.
- Records of research, works, projects or professional services disclosed with authorization in recent years.
- Specific content that needs to be stopped being disclosed, links corrected, or professional labels adjusted.
2. Declaration of interest relationships
After receiving a specific scope of assignment, the expert should confirm whether there are any relationships that may affect independent judgment before reading the substantive material. Situations that require reporting include but are not limited to:
- Have a relative, teacher-student, direct cooperative or management relationship with the applicant, author, team or institution.
- There are financial interests, rights disputes, competitive relationships or ongoing joint projects with the review object.
- Already participated in the creation, research, curation, application, recommendation or preliminary judgment of the object.
- Other relationships that may give rise to legitimate questions about independence by the public, or that the expert himself believes needs to be explained.
3. Processing and Recording
The association adjusts tasks, restricts access to materials, or makes avoidance arrangements depending on the nature of the relationship. Voluntary declarations are for the protection of the program and participants and do not serve as a negative evaluation of professional abilities.
After the task is completed, the scope of authorization, avoidance status, independent opinions and procedure review results are archived separately. Public pages only present authorized expert information and descriptions of necessary procedures, and do not disclose private relationship details, internal opinions or unpublished materials.
