Cross-field professional exchange season begins, connecting cultural research, sports practice and artistic expression

Source: HCSA Secretariat

The series of exchanges starts from common topics and allows researchers, creators, sports practitioners and educators to form dialogues on clear professional boundaries.

The 2023 cross-field professional exchange season focuses on cultural memory, physical experience, artistic expression and public participation. The content of the series is problem-centered and is not simply spliced with subject names. Instead, it invites different majors to provide complementary explanations of the same real-life issues based on materials, methods and practical experience.

The exchange content includes topic sharing, method discussion, work reading and practical observation. The event focuses on clear explanations of professional terminology, allowing participants from different fields to understand each other's working methods, and allowing the public to enter into otherwise more professional discussions.

Common issues establish a basis for cross-disciplinary dialogue

Cultural studies provide historical, local context and intellectual relationships, sports practice brings physical, educational and community experiences, and artistic expression proposes new ways of seeing through works, media and spaces. Different perspectives complement each other on common problems.

The communication season encourages participants to illustrate sources of evidence, conditions of practice, and boundaries of judgment. Clearly expressing differences does not hinder collaboration, but can avoid conceptual confusion and give subsequent projects a more stable professional foundation.

Transform event content into sustainable reading resources

After the event, part of the content was organized into opinion articles, theme summaries and video records, and entered into the information, research and exhibition columns. The public can review the discussion through different media and continue to follow the development of related issues.

The series of exchanges thus extends from one event to long-term content. The association will continue to organize follow-up sharing based on the maturity of the topic, so that cross-field cooperation can remain readable, reviewable and deepenable.
